We’re excited about CREF 2017, the 37th Annual Cardiothoracic Surgery Symposium. In addition to being a proud sponsor, two experts from our Medical Department are on the program. Linda Mongero, CCP, Director of Education and Clinical Performance, will be moderating an ECLS panel on Thursday and discussing cannulation strategies during the presentation. On Friday, Linda will participate in the Electronic Medical Records Workshop and share essential safety considerations for real-time monitoring on CPB. On Saturday you’ll find her moderating fireside chats, one on ECLS and ECMO and another on perfusion education and scope of practice.

CREF 2017 also gives you the opportunity to meet with and hear from Al Stammers, MSA, CCP, SpecialtyCare’s Director of Clinical Quality and Outcomes Research, who will be moderating a variety of sessions and contributing to discussions on team-building and interpersonal dynamics, safety and quality improvement, and challenging cases. Additionally, Al will present the latest on myocardial preservation on Friday and give an update on heater-cooler-borne infections on Saturday.

If you’re at the symposium, we invite you to stop by Booth 7 to chat with our team members. Have a great meeting!
