The Sanibel Symposium and Mechanisms of Perfusion Join Forces

By September 26, 2017

Fort Myers, FL – June 1, 2017 –, host of The Sanibel Symposium, and SpecialtyCare, host of Mechanisms of Perfusion, have entered into a joint venture with the objective of making The Sanibel Symposium the largest perfusion-focused, cardiac-related conference in the world.  Now entering its 7th year, The Sanibel Symposium is widely regarded as an elite conference that introduces state-of-the-art technology, advanced education, innovative methodology, and groundbreaking evidence-based scientific research. SpecialtyCare’s Mechanisms is considered to be the perfusion industry’s most advanced learning meeting.

With one conference instead of two, The Sanibel Symposium anticipates a significant increase to its already large number of onsite and live webcast attendees. We also expect that the quality of class content and workshops will only benefit from combining our educational resources. Our first step in this direction will be adding esteemed colleague Linda Mongero from SpecialtyCare to The Sanibel Symposium’s leadership committee.

Each year, one of the goals is to improve upon the corporate vendor’s experience at The Sanibel Symposium. This venture should surely maximize vendors’ exposure to an even larger audience while diminishing the financial burden previously associated with attending two separate conferences.

The 2018 Sanibel Symposium and future Sanibel Symposiums will be held at the Sanibel Marriott Resort and Spa. The 2018 event will be held April 4 to April 7, 2018.

Reserve your spot by registering today. If you would like more information on The Sanibel Symposium, please visit the conference website or contact our leadership:, Inc.
